About me

Becoming a Certified Nutrition Specialist® and NASM certified personal trainer stemmed from my journey to understand and address both the nutritional and physical needs of myself and my family.

My focus lies in supporting individuals struggling with weight management, low energy, cravings, and the overwhelming challenge of juggling multiple responsibilities.

Together, we can forge healthy food relationships while calming inflammation, balancing hormones, and easing gut discomfort. Our partnership allows you to cultivate healthy habits that can nourish your own body while positively impacting your next generation. 

I believe that everyone has a fighting chance at living their “fullest life” given the tools to do so. My goal is to serve as a link between merely existing and truly thriving.

My Experience

I am a Certified Nutrition Specialist®, credentialed by the American Nutrition Association® through its Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists™, the most advanced certification for personalized nutrition practitioners. Certified Nutrition Specialists practice science-based personalized nutrition therapy.  I hold a master’s degree in Nutrition Education from American University. Additionally, I obtained certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN). Acknowledging the interconnectedness of nutrition, wellness, and physical activity, I am also a Certified Personal Trainer accredited by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Everyday, I engage with those striving for an individualized approach to nutrition, fitness, and overall health using research-backed nutrition and fitness strategies. Not only do we use symptoms as our guide to healing, but we dig deep to uncover the root cause of the body’s dysfunction in order to heal from the inside out.

My Story

I am a busy wife and mom to two teenage daughters. My family keeps me on my toes and in constant motion. They are my biggest cheerleaders, but also my biggest sources of stress and anxiety, and my reason to model decent human behavior.

In the realm of health, nutrition, and fitness, I used to feel overwhelmed by trends and conflicting information, lacking structure and genuine knowledge. My confidence and self-esteem suffered as I compared myself incessantly to others— their bodies, careers, success, and health. On top of that, I battled brain fog while my gut was in turmoil.

But my quest to cultivate a more fulfilling lifestyle for my family led me to dive deep into evidence-based nutrition and wellness. This journey inspired me to transition into integrative nutrition coaching. I love using my knowledge as a nutrition educator to help others find their way to a more fulfilling life through nutrition therapy. Together, we uncover individual motivations and pave the way for lasting change.
